MORE INFORMATION

   1. Q. I'd like to open my Word 4.0 documents in Word 5.0 or 5.1. How
         do I convert them?

      A. You do not need to convert Word 4.0 documents to open them in
Word version 5.0 or 5.1. Open your Word 4.0 documents as you
would Word 5.0 or 5.1 documents, by choosing Open from the File
         menu.

   2. Q. How do I open a Word 5.0 or 5.1 document in Word 4.0?

      A. Word 4.0 reads Word 5.0 and 5.1 documents directly; no
conversion is necessary. Open these documents in Word 4.0 in
         the usual manner.
