SYMPTOMSWhen you format a paragraph in Microsoft Word for Windows and you change either the Spacing Before or Line Spacing option, the At measurement on the status bar, which indicates the vertical position of the insertion point on the page, will appear to display incorrect information.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the versions of Microsoft Word for Windows listed above. This problem was corrected in Word version 6.0 for Windows. Note: To access the Customize dialog box in Word for Windows 1.x, choose Customize from the Utilities menu. You can select inches, centimeters, points, or picas as the unit of measure. To access the Options dialog box in Word for Windows 2.0 or 2.0a, choose Options from the Tools menu. Under Category, select General if you want to change the unit of measure used in Word. To display this measurement on the status bar, use the steps listed below.
