SYMPTOMSIf you select a PostScript font in Word for the Macintosh, your Macintosh SE computer may stop responding (hang) if you are running System 7.0 and Adobe Type Manager (ATM) version 2.03. The problem also occurs if you choose the Drop Cap command from the Insert menu using text that contains PostScript font character formatting.
WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, turn off ATM and use a TrueType or bitmap font instead of a PostScript font.
