The information in this article applies to:
When you open a Microsoft Word for the Macintosh 6.x document containing Comments on the Summary Info dialog box, into either Microsoft Word 97 for Windows or Word 98 Macintosh Edition, the Comments will not appear (on the File menu, click Properties and then click the Summary tab).
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
In Microsoft Word for the Macintosh, version 6.x, the Comments field can be found by clicking Summary Info on the File menu.
In Microsoft Word 97 for Windows and Word 98 Macintosh Edition, the comparable Comments field can be found by clicking Properties on the File menu and then clicking the Summary tab.
