SUMMARYThe thesaurus in Microsoft Word for Windows checks the first word of any string of words separated by delimiters. A delimiter is defined as any character used to bridge one or more words together so that no spaces exist between the individual words. Common delimiters include the following characters:
/ \ * , : ; . & # @ () [] {} STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the versions of Microsoft Word for Windows listed above. This problem was corrected in Word version 6.0 for Windows.
