The information in this article applies to:
Hyperlink jumps to bookmarks are moved to the top of the document after you save and reopen an HTML document.
You have entered hyperlinks to bookmarks while editing in page layout view.
The HTML export converter does not recognize the coordinates as presented in page layout view. Therefore, all hyperlinks to bookmarks in this view will be moved to the top of the document.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Internet Assistant for Word for Windows versions 1.0, and 1.0z. This problem was corrected in Internet Assistant version 2.0 for Word for Windows 95.
When creating HTML documents, use normal view to view and position hyperlinks to bookmarks.
Internet Assistant uses normal view to display HTML documents, which is a faster way to display documents than page layout view. In addition, since documents posted on the World Wide Web are not displayed as typical pages, page layout is not essential to creating or viewing these documents.
