SUMMARYThe Word for Macintosh online WordBasic Help file incorrectly states that the MenuMode statement corresponds to pressing the DECIMAL (.) key on the numeric keypad when Num Lock is off. Pressing the DECIMAL key when Num Lock is off in Word 6.0 does not activate menu mode. In Word versions 4.0 and 5.x for the Macintosh, menu mode is activated by pressing the DECIMAL key when Num Lock was turned off. However, in Word 6.0, menu mode can be accessed by pressing COMMAND+TAB or by pressing F10.
MORE INFORMATIONTo toggle Num Lock, press SHIFT+CLEAR. CLEAR is the key above the 7 on the keypad on the extreme right of an extended keyboard. When Num Lock is off, the keypad keys perform the following operations:
