The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSIn Microsoft Word for the Macintosh, when you send a fax using Smith Micro MacComCenter fax software, all pages that are faxed appear as black pages except for the cover sheet. Print preview in Word also displays the pages in black.
CAUSEThis problem is caused by an incompatibility between Microsoft Word for the Macintosh and Smith Micro's MacComCenter Version 1.0.4 or earlier, fax product.
RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, upgrade to Smith Micro's MacComCenter fax product version 1.3.8 or later.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem between Smith Micro's MacComCenter Version 1.0.3 and earlier faxing software and Microsoft Word for the Macintosh.
