Considerations Copying Individual Styles Between DocumentsParagraph marks in a document contain the paragraph level formatting information for the paragraph including the Style information for that paragraph, and can be used to transfer styles between documents. Copying a paragraph mark to a new document will bring its style information with it. NOTE: Copying a paragraph mark that has a style applied that has the same name as a style in the destination document does not override the style in the destination document. As a result, this technique does not work for replacing custom or standard styles that have the same name in the destination document. To copy individual styles by copying a paragraph mark, follow these steps:
