SUMMARYThe following error message occurs in version 5.0 of Word for the Macintosh if you cut text located to the left of an EndNote Plus reference, undo the cut operation, and then choose Format Bibliography from the Tools menu:
EndNote Plus Plug-In Module: Error: 20051. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Word version 5.0. This problem was corrected in Word version 5.1. To obtain new or updated Microsoft products, call Microsoft Sales Information Center at (800) 426-9400. If you are outside the United States, contact the Microsoft subsidiary for your area. To locate your subsidiary, call Microsoft International Customer Service at (425) 936-8661. NOTE: This problem does not occur if you create a file in Word 5.1, but it does occur in Word 5.1 if you open a file created in Word 5.0.
WORKAROUNDIf this error message occurs, delete the EndNote Plus reference and the text located on the left of the reference. Retype the text and then reinsert the EndNote Plus reference. Use the following steps if you have trouble finding the selection that causes this error message:
