SYMPTOMS
========

When you visit the On Stage Web page in MSN, The Microsoft Network, you may not
hear music.

CAUSE
=====

This behavior can occur for any of the following reasons:

 - You have an 80486 or prior microprocessor in your computer.

 - The MSN 2.5 installation program may not automatically install the
   Interactive Music Controls.

RESOLUTION
==========

To resolve this behavior, use the following steps:

1. Right-click My Computer on the desktop, and then click Properties.

2. Your computer's processor type is listed under "Computer" on the General tab.
   If you are using an 80486 or prior microprocessor, you may want to consider
   upgrading your computer. If you are using a Pentium-type (or later)
   processor, continue to the next step.

3. Insert the MSN 2.5 CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive. If the Welcome To MSN screen
   appears, click Browse The CD, and then proceed to step 6. If the Welcome To
   MSN screen does not appear, continue to the next step.

4. Double-click My Computer.

5. Double-click the MSN (CD-ROM drive) icon. When the Welcome To MSN screen
   appears, click Browse The CD.

6. Double-click the MSNSetup folder.

7. Double-click the Compnts folder.

8. Double-click the Imtmmctl.exe file.

9. Restart the computer. To do so, click Start, click Shut Down, click Restart,
   and then click OK.
