SYMPTOMS
========

When you attempt to connect to MSN, The Microsoft Network, you may receive the
following error message:

   Urlmon.dll is missing

CAUSE
=====

This can occur if the Internet Explorer installation did not successfully
complete during MSN Setup, or if the Urlmon.dll file was removed when Netscape
Navigator was removed. Urlmon.dll is a shared file that is deleted when some
Netscape Navigator versions are removed.

RESOLUTION
==========

To resolve this issue, reinstall Internet Explorer.

Download the latest Internet Explorer software from
    http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/

Reinstall Internet Explorer from the MSN CD-ROM

1. Insert the MSN CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive and simultaneously press and hold
   down the SHIFT key to prevent the MSN Setup program from starting
   automatically.

2. Double-click My Computer on the desktop.

3. Right-click the MSN (CD-ROM drive) icon, and then click Explore.

4. Double-click the Ie folder (or IeX X=number).

5. Double-click the IeXsetup.exe file (X=number) and follow the instructions on
   the screen to reinstall Internet Explorer.

6. Restart the computer.
