CAUSE ===== MSN Explorer Dial Up Networking (DUN 1.4) setup fails to install TCP/IP if it is not already installed. Dialup Networking will only upgrade components already installed on the computer. If TCP/IP is not added prior to the install of DUN 1.4 it will have to be added. RESOLUTION ========== Add TCP/IP to Dialup Networking 1. Click Start, point to Settings and click Control Panel. 2. Double-click Network and click Add. 3. Click Protocol, and then click Add. 4. Under Manufacturers click Microsoft, under Network Protocols click TCP/IP, and then click OK.
