CAUSE ===== The function is allocating buffer for OM_OBJECT. However, it fails with an insufficient memory error due to the memory shortage. So the buffer is actually not allocated. Finally, the directory service stops by releasing this unallocated buffer area. STATUS ====== Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Exchange Server version 4.0.
