XL5: Page Setup Settings Not Saved with Visual Basic ModulesID: Q111087
|
In Microsoft Excel version 5.0, the Page Setup settings for Visual Basic modules are not saved. When you reopen a workbook containing modules, the Page Setup settings for the modules will revert to their default settings.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was corrected in Microsoft Excel for Windows version 5.0c.
If you change the Page Setup settings for a Visual Basic module,
those settings will be preserved only as long as the workbook
containing the module is open. When you close the workbook,
Page Setup settings for modules revert to their default settings,
even if you save the workbook.
In Microsoft Excel version 5.0 for Windows, the default Page Setup settings
for a module are as follows:
Tab Setting Value
------- ----------------- -------------------------------------
Page Orientation The default orientation as set in
Windows Control Panel
