SUMMARY

To run Microsoft Mail for AppleTalk Networks, MS-DOS workstation, you need the
following configuration:

 - IBM personal computer or compatible

 - 512K RAM (memory)

 - A 3.5-inch disk drive, a 5.25-inch floppy disk drive, or a hard disk drive

 - MS-DOS version 2.0 or later

 - AppleTalk network card and network driver software (one of the following is
   suggested):

Before you can use Microsoft Mail, you must connect your computer to the
AppleTalk network. To do this, you need the following:

 - An AppleTalk-compatible network card (see above)

 - A hardware connector from the AppleTalk card to the network jack (nine-pin
   male DB9 phone net connector)

 - Network driver software that came with your AppleTalk card installed

Your computer must be connected to an AppleTalk network that has a Macintosh
acting as a Microsoft Mail server.
