When you add a Microsoft Excel 97 workbook that contains a macro as a new section in Microsoft Office Binder 97, you may receive the following warning more than once:
The workbook you are opening contains macros. Some macros may contain
harmful viruses. If you are sure this workbook is from a trusted source,
click Yes. If you are not sure and want to prevent any macros from
running, click No.
When you add a Microsoft Excel 97 workbook that contains macros in Microsoft Binder as a new section, you must do the following:
- Open the workbook
- Save the workbook
- Open the workbook again
Note that the macro virus warning appears each time the workbook is opened.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
