CAUSE ===== This error message occurs when a user on a computer running Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 4 makes a remote connection to a computer running Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 3 or Service Pack 4 and the LAN Manager Server EnableSecuritySignature parameter is set to 1. If the logged-on user has an account on the remote computer and the password differs between the two computers, the error message listed above occurs during any access request.
