SYMPTOMSIn Microsoft Excel 98 Macintosh Edition, if you fill or copy a very large number of array formulas in a worksheet, the following problems may occur:
CAUSEThese problems may occur if the worksheet contains more than 32,640 array formulas that refer to another worksheet.
RESOLUTIONIn Microsoft Excel 98 Macintosh Edition, a single worksheet may contain a maximum of 32,640 array formulas that refer to another worksheet. If you want to use more formulas, split the data into multiple worksheets so that there are fewer than 32,640 references to a single worksheet.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
