CAUSE ===== This problem occurs if a UDP packet is spit into two Internet protocol (IP) fragments and the second fragment arrives before the first because Windows NT-based computers may incorrectly discard the second IP fragment. When this occurs, the UDP packet is discarded. RESOLUTION ========== A supported fix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem described in this article and should be applied only to systems experiencing this specific problem.
