XADM: Address Book View Scroll Bar Problem After Mail MigrationID: Q179304

When Microsoft Mail users migrate to Microsoft Exchange Server using the MS
Mail Migration Wizard, the address book views may not function properly
when viewed from Exchange or Outlook clients or from the Exchange
Administrator program.
When you view an address book in the client, the scroll bar may be grayed
out. However, the arrows still allow scrolling. Resizing the window may
make the scroll bar function properly.
From the Administrator program, the scroll bar may also be grayed out.
The address book view scroll bars may not function properly in the clients
or Exchange Administrator program until you resize the window. Resizing the
window may allow the address book view scroll bar to function properly.
Creating a new Address Book View may also resolve this problem until the
next MS Mail migration.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Exchange Server version 5.0. We are researching this problem and will post more information in when available.
This problem only occurs when you use the MS Mail Migration Wizard found in
the Exchange Administrator program. If you import from within the
Administrator Program using a .csv file, this problem does not occur.
