SYMPTOMS

When you play Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings, you may experience an
unexpectedly slow frame rate.

CAUSE
=====

This behavior can occur if the following conditions are true:

 - A video adapter based on the 3Dfx Voodoo 3 chipset is installed in your
   computer.

 - The video driver for your video adapter is outdated.

RESOLUTION
==========

To resolve this issue, contact your hardware manufacturer to inquire about how
to obtain and install the latest version of the video driver for your video
adapter.
