SYMPTOMS
========

When you attempt to start Microsoft Flight Simulator 2000, you may receive the
following error message:

   System error.

CAUSE
=====

This behavior can occur if the following conditions are true:

 - An ATI Rage 128 video adapter is installed in the computer.

 - Version 4.11.1.2126 of the video driver for the ATI Rage 128 video adapter is
   installed on the computer.

RESOLUTION
==========

To resolve this issue, obtain and install the latest video driver for the ATI
Rage 128 video adapter from the following ATI Technologies Inc. Web site:

   http://www.atitech.com
