When you start Microsoft Midtown Madness, randomly colored shapes may be
displayed on the screen or you may experience other graphic related symptoms.

To resolve this issue, use the following methods in the order in which they are
presented.

Install Midtown Multiplayer Patch
---------------------------------

To download and install the Midtown Multiplayer Patch (Mmpat.exe) from the
following Microsoft Web site:

   http://www.microsoft.com/games/midtown/downloads.htm

Update Your Video Driver
------------------------

To update the driver for your video adapter, contact the manufacturer of your
video adapter. For information about how to contact the manufacturer of your
video adapter, click the appropriate article number below to view the article in

The Midtown Multiplayer Patch resolves the following issues:

 - To prevent you or any other player from enjoying an unfair advantage over
   another player, you are unable to change the tuning parameters of any
   vehicle.

 - You are unable to select a locked vehicle when you join a multiplayer
   session.

 - Several bugs related to switching views have been fixed.
