SYMPTOMS
========

When you play Microsoft StarLancer, you may experience the following symptoms:

 - When you play a video clip, video playback may be choppy or start and stop at
   random intervals.

 - Graphics performance in the game may be poor.

CAUSE
=====

This behavior can occur if both of the following conditions are true:

 - An STB Velocity 128 video adapter is installed in your computer.

 - The game is configured to use a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels.

RESOLUTION
==========

To resolve this issue, download and install the latest version of the video
driver for your video adapter from the following STB Web site:

   http://www.stb.com

MORE INFORMATION

To work around this issue, reduce the screen resolution in the game to 800 x 600
pixels or 640 x 480 pixels:

1. On the StarLancer startup screen, click Game Options.

2. Click Video.

3. Click one of the arrows next to Resolution to change the setting to 800x600
   or 640x480.

4. Click Main Menu.
