SYMPTOMS
========

When you play Microsoft Motocross Madness 2, ground textures in the game may
appear distorted.

CAUSE
=====

This behavior can occur if the following conditions are true:

 - An STB Velocity 4400 video adapter is installed in the computer.

 - The video driver for the video adapter is outdated.

RESOLUTION
==========

To resolve this issue, download and install the latest video driver for the STB
Velocity 4400 video adapter from the following 3Dfx Web site:

   http://www.3dfx.com

You may be able to work around this issue by forcing textures to fit in video
memory:

1. Start Motocross Madness 2, and then click Options ([GRAPHIC:the three
   gears]).

2. Click the Graphics tab.

3. Click Advanced.

4. Under Emergency Repair Features, click to select the "Force textures to fit
   in video memory" check box.

5. In the Display Resolution box, click a resolution that is lower than 1600 X
   1200.

6. Click Back ([GRAPHIC:the pointing hand]) until you return to the startup
   screen.
