SYMPTOMS
========

When you attempt to start Pandora's Box, you may receive an error message
similar to one of the following:

   This application is not compatible with Windows XP. Please contact Microsoft
   for a update.

-or-

   Pandora's Box has a known compatibility issue with this version of Windows.
   For an update that is compatible with this version of Windows, contact
   Microsoft.

CAUSE
=====

This behavior can occur on some Pentium III computers.

RESOLUTION
==========

To resolve this issue, download and install the Pandora's Box Update for the
game's English version (Pandora10a.exe), or for the French version
(Pandora10a.exe), or for the Japanese version (PandoraJ10a.exe). To do this, see
the following Microsoft Web site:

   http://www.microsoft.com/games/pandorasbox/downloads.htm

The self-extracting, self-installing files install two modified files: the
Pandora.exe file and the Langenu.dll file. The combined size of the downloaded
files is approximately 1 megabyte (MB).

NOTE: Pandora's Box Trial version does not work on Pentium III computers.
