The Encarta Annual Update Program was a special program that sent subscribers
each year's new edition of select Microsoft Encarta reference products.
Subsription was free, and customers were notified of special-price offers to for
new products.

The AUP was discontinued in July 2001, but existing subscribers may still contact
the AUP for questions about existing orders.

AUP has been replaced "Club Encarta" which is only available to users of 2002
Encarta products. To join Club Encarta, open your 2002 Encarta product and on
the Help menu, click Join Club Encarta.
