SYMPTOMSThe Microsoft Exchange Message Transfer Agent (MTA) might report an access violation in RPC DMOD when it accesses an RPC LTAB client table data area. The LTAB Client table data area no longer exists because the original LTAB has been freed and reused.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Exchange Server version 4.0. This problem was corrected in the latest Microsoft Exchange Server U.S. Service Pack.
