SYMPTOMS
========

When you run the Analyze utility for Visual SourceSafe 6.0, you receive the
following error message:

   The NameSet Information for [file name] is corrupt.

If you run the Analyze utility subsequently with the repair switch "-F," the
corruption is not repaired.

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a bug in the Microsoft products listed at the
beginning of this article. This bug was corrected in the latest service pack for
Visual Studio 6.0.
