SUMMARY
=======

In Microsoft Exchange Server version 5.0, the system attendant may stop
responding when generating the Offline Address Book.

CAUSE
=====

This is caused by the total details of an object being greater than 1 KB. In
Microsoft Exchange Server version 5.0, an object detail greater than 1 KB will
cause the system attendant to stop responding.

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Exchange 5.0 . This
problem was corrected in the latest Microsoft Exchange Server 5.0 U.S. Service
Pack. For information on obtaining the service pack, query on the following word
