SYMPTOMSWhen starting the Microsoft Exchange Information Store (IS), a server specific error 4294966095 may be generated.
CAUSEThis will happen when the Public Information Store database (Pub.edb) is in an inconsistent state.
WORKAROUNDRestore the IS from an online backup. Contact Microsoft Technical Support for assistance if necessary.
MORE INFORMATIONTo confirm the state of the database, run the following command from a command prompt on the Microsoft Exchange Server computer:
