SYMPTOMS
========

When you try to add a network service in the Network tool in Control Panel, the
"Service" network component type may be missing.

CAUSE
=====

This issue can occur if any of the following features have been disabled by
system policies or registry entries:

   Control for File Sharing
   Control for Print Sharing
   Print Sharing Service
   File Sharing Service

RESOLUTION
==========

To resolve this issue, contact your system administrator to request that one or
more of these features be enabled.
