CRS Aborts Due to Inability to Open File LocallyID: Q198574
|
Replication aborts when a file that has already been locked by the Content
Replication System (CRS) is deleted before it gets replicated.
If a file is deleted from the source between the time that the CRS lists
the files to be copied and the time that the files are actually sent, the
replication is aborted. It may take several minutes from the time
replication is started before the project is aborted.
In the application event log, the following entries are recorded:
ID 15017 -- Replication for project test started by user Administrator
with flags ACLS FORCE AUTOMATIC .
ID 15007 -- The replication was aborted during the SENDINET operation
due to an inability to send one of the files (c:\programs\New Text
Document.txt).
ID 15006 -- Replication was aborted due to an inability to open a file
locally.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Site Server version 2.0.
