CRS: Grantuser Returns 1344 Error on Project with Large ACLID: Q179278

When you try to run a grantuser command on a project with a large Access Control List (ACL), you get the following 1344 error message:
No more memory is available for security information updates.
This is a limitation of the command line interface, which only allows a 4- KB buffer or approximately 11 user permissions per project.

For information about how to edit the registry, view the "Changing Keys And
Values" Help topic in Registry Editor (Regedit.exe) or the "Add and Delete
Information in the Registry" and "Edit Registry Data" Help topics in
Regedt32.exe. Note that you should back up the registry before you edit it.
There are two workarounds:
Method 1
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Commercial Internet System version 1.0 and Microsoft Site Server version 2.0. This problem has been corrected in the latest U.S. Service Pack for Site Server 2.0 Service Pack 1. For information on obtaining the Service Pack, query on the following word in the Microsoft Knowledge Base (without the spaces):

The buffer for the command line interface has been increased to 64 KB, which will allow approximately 176 user permissions per project.
