SYMPTOMS

When the Commerce Server scriptor component is used in a pipeline and the VBScript scripting engine is newer than the version that comes with Internet Explorer 4.01 SP1 (Vbscript.dll version 3.1.0.2230), a memory leak may occur in the Internet Information Server process (Inetinfo.exe). Depending on the load on the Commerce Server store, it may be necessary to restart the Internet Information Server (IIS) computer several times a day.

CAUSE

This problem is caused by the way the Commerce Server scriptor component uses the VBScript scripting engine.
