Padded Blank Spaces in Ad Server As_application Table

SYMPTOMS

When the Ad Server application property is not set, or when it is set with a string containing more than 255 characters, the App_urlbase field in the As_application table is populated with 255 blank spaces.

WORKAROUND

Make sure the Ad.Application variable in the Global.asa is assigned a value, and that the value contains a string that is less than 255 characters.
