PBS Import of Region File Fails If Region Name Contains ApostropheID: Q185249
|
When you use PBAdmin to import a file that contains a name that contains an apostrophe, the import fails and the following error message appears:
The Import log states something like the following:An error has occurred during command line processing. See import.log in the application directory for details.
4/3/98 3:14:39 PM, Ipass, An unspecified error occurred on import. -
Ipass; Region ID = 1
To work around this problem, remove the apostrophe from the region name.
To resolve this problem, obtain the following fix or wait for the next
service pack.
This fix should have the following time stamp:

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Commercial
Internet System, version 1.0 Service Pack 2.

tested and should be applied only to systems experiencing this specific
problem. Unless you are severely impacted by this specific problem,
Microsoft recommends that you wait for the next Service Pack that contains
