If you attempt to add an ODBC subscriber from the Publisher and Distributor Properties dialog box, the following SQL Distributed Management Objects (SQL-DMO) error may be generated:
This problem occurs on Japanese SQL Server 7.0.Error 21076:
SQL-DMO The DSN information provided was either incorrect or incomplete.
The SQL Enterprise Manager (SEM) calls the sp_dsninfo stored procedure with the parameters. If the second parameter @infotype is specified, sp_dsninfo fails with "Invalid parameter value".
To work around this problem, click OK on the messages dialog box, and continue setting up the ODBC subscriber.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in SQL Server version 7.0.
