FIX: Delay Between Responses Fails for Perf Condition AlertID: Q232244
|
Responses for performance condition alerts are sent every 20 seconds, regardless of the "delay between responses" time specified in the alert.
After a response is sent, the last_response_date and last_response_time columns in sysalerts are updated for the first severity 19 alert instead of the correct alert, thus preventing the delay logic from working correctly.
In the job executed in response to the alert, add the following command:
EXECUTE msdb.dbo.sp_update_alert @name = '<name>', @delay_between_responses = <desired delay>
