PRB: Quick Links from SQL Server 7.0 Support Highlights Page Do Not Contain Information on SQL Server

SYMPTOMS

When you visit the SQL Server Support Highlights page located at http://support.microsoft.com/support/sql and click one of the Quick Links (for example, the Quick Link to Support Highlights by Product or Frequently Asked Questions), you are asked to choose a product, but SQL Server is not in the product list.

CAUSE

This problem was caused by a recent redesign of the http://support.microsoft.com/support/ Web site. This site was updated to target products that Microsoft considers Home products, but SQL Server is considered an Enterprise or Developer product.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, use the Microsoft Developer Network (MSDN) site rather than the Personal Online Support site. The MSDN site is located at:

http://support.microsoft.com/servicedesks/msdn/
