While using the Systems Management Server Distribute Software Wizard it is possible for an error to be generated similar to the following:
The following error message displays next:Wizard internal error: invalid WBEM ExecMethod result. Please exit the Wizard.
Select OK. The following error message appears:Win32 Exception in MMC Admin UI! WIN32 Exception : ACCESS_VIOLATION Description : The thread tried to read from or write to a virtual address for which it does not have the appropriate access. An error similar to the following may also be generated and the Microsoft Management Console (MMC) must be shutdown:Win32 Exception in MMC Admin UI! Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Systems Management Server version 2.0. This problem has been corrected in the
latest U.S. service pack for Systems Management Server version 2.0. For information on obtaining the service pack, query on the
