ADO Cursor Engine Alignment Faults Cause Performance Issues on Alpha PlatformsID: Q230067
|
When using ADO on an Alpha platform, the client cursor engine generates a number of alignment faults, which can cause performance problems.
The pointers being used by the Alpha version of the ADO client cursor engine are not being properly aligned with page boundaries. This causes a performance hit when address fixups need to be performed.
There is no workaround.
