XADM: Automated Receipt Is Always from POSTMASTER@<local_domain.ext>ID: Q182010

When you send a message to a recipient on a remote Exchange Server computer, via an SMTP address, the automated delivery receipt will always be from POSTMASTER@<local_domain.ext>.
The behavior has been changed in the latest service packs for Exchange
Server version 5.0.
A supported fix is now available, but has not been fully regression-tested
and should be applied only to systems experiencing this specific problem.
Unless you are severely impacted by this specific problem, Microsoft
recommends that you wait for the next Service Pack that contains this fix.

parameter to override the postmaster address.
