XADM: CR/LF Characters Missing from End of Internet Text Body PartsID: Q183481
|
An internet message is received and a text body part (or text attachment) is missing a final carriage-return (CR) line-feed (LF) combination. This may cause the message body part to be displayed incorrectly.
A logic error was preventing a final CR/LF sequence from being written to the end of the text body parts.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Exchange Server
version 5.0.
A supported fix is now available, but has not been fully regression-
tested and should be applied only to systems experiencing this specific
problem. Unless you are severely impacted by this specific problem,
Microsoft recommends that you wait for the next Service Pack that contains
this fix. Contact Microsoft Technical Support for more information.
