XCLN: Resource Scheduling Button Is Unavailable in Outlook

• Microsoft Outlook Windows 95/98 client, version 8.5
• Microsoft Outlook Windows NT client, version 8.5

SYMPTOMS

On the Tools menu, when you click Options, click the Preferences tab, and then click Calendar Options, the Resource Scheduling button is unavailable.

CAUSE

The Resource Scheduling button is unavailable if the settings for automatic processing of mail are all disabled.

WORKAROUND

To enable the settings for automatic processing of mail:

1. On the Tools menu, click Options.



2. On the Preferences tab, click Email Options, and then click Advanced Email Options.



3. Under Automatic processing of mail, select both check boxes, and then click OK.



4. Click OK two more times.
