XIMS: Extension SMTP Could Not Be LoadedID: Q230283

When you open the property pages for the Internet Mail Service in the Exchange Server Administration program, you receive the following error message:
The SMTP extension is located in the computer share \\ExchangeServer\Add-ins and is required for the Internet Mail Service to start. When you attempt to access this extension, you cannot and you receive the following, secondary error message:Extension SMTP Could Not Be Loaded.
Not enough server storage is available to process this command.
When you access shares on a computer running Windows NT Server from a Windows NT client and the IRPstackSize parameter is set too low on the server, you may receive the above error message (Not enough server storage is available to process this command).

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT 4.0 and Windows NT Server 4.0, Terminal Server Edition.
