After you synchronize appointments, you may receive the following error message displayed in the ActiveSync Connection Status box:
1 item is out of date
Also, you may continue to receive this error message every time you
synchronize appointments.
This behavior can occur if one or more of your appointments is damaged.
To resolve this issue, locate and then delete the damaged appointment or appointments. To do so, use the following steps:
1. On the computer that is running Windows CE Services, double-click the
Mobile Devices folder on the desktop, click ActiveSync Options on the
Tools menu, click Appointment (the word, not the check box), and then
click Options.
2. Click Synchronize Only The, and then set the Past Week Of Appointments
and Future Weeks Of Appointments settings both to 0.
3. Click OK, and then synchronize your Microsoft Windows CE device with
your desktop computer.
4. On your Windows CE device, double-click Calendar, and then click Month
on the View menu.
5. Look at each month on the calendar for any appointments. When you find
an appointment, click Edit, and then click Delete Item. After you
delete an appointment, re-create it. Repeat this process until all of
the appointments have been re-created.
