Cannot Change the Display Resolution of Pocket PowerPoint Files

SYMPTOMS

When you convert a Microsoft PowerPoint file to a Microsoft Pocket PowerPoint file, you are unable to change the display resolution for the file.

RESOLUTION

To work around this problem, follow these steps:

1. On the desktop computer, double-click the Mobile Devices folder.

2. On the Tools menu, click File Conversion, and then click the

   "Desktop -> Device" tab.

3. Click Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation, and then click Edit.

4. In the Type box, click the file type with the display resolution that

   you want, and then click OK.

5. Click OK.

6. Copy the Microsoft PowerPoint file you want to the Synchronized Files

   folder on the Handheld PC (H/PC). If a Confirm File Replace dialog box
   appears on the screen, click Yes.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Pocket PowerPoint, version 1.0.
