Cannot Synchronize H/PC After You Install Internet Explorer 4.0

SYMPTOMS

After you install Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 on your desktop computer, you may not be able to synchronize your Handheld PC (H/PC) with the desktop computer.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, shut down and restart the desktop computer.
